David Stephen Manson is a Lighting Designer and Production Manager. With a higher education in Lighting Design from Rose Bruford College (BA(Hons) Lighting Design), David has worked around Europe, primarily based in London and Geneva.
Born in 1992, David was brought up in Glasgow and moved with his parents to Geneva, Switzerland in 2001. Here, he went through his primary and secondary education in French.
In pursuing his passion for the arts and theatre, David went to Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance to study for a Bachelor of Arts degree in Lighting Design, where he graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Lighting Design.
Having lived in Europe, David has had great opportunities working in some great venues and companies, for example at the Bregenzer Festspiele (Bregenz, Austria), the Théâtre du Léman (Geneva, Switzerland) and the Lilian Baylis Studios (Part of Sadlers Wells in London).
Currently, David is the Technical Manager for the Vienna Festival Ballet (for UK tours), Exchange Theatre (London based bilingual theatre company) and the newly formed Bee In My Beanie (an up-and-coming fringe production company).
